How do you grade your books?
We grade our books conservatively and use the following scale: Paperback Book Grading Guide ******* Fine (FN) Books graded FN are unused and like new. Pure white pages are not required as a slight darkening of the paper due to age is usually inevitable. ******* About Fine (AF) Books grade AF are also unread but have some minor imperfections such as slight edge wear, a small chip at the top or base of spine, light rubbing on the cover or some other minor flaw. ******* Very Good to Fine (VGF) Books graded VGF will show minor signs of use. This is the highest grade given to a book that has been read. May have a slight spine crease. ******* Very Good Plus (VG+) Books graded VG+ show more obvious signs of use and will have no spine rolling, no major creasing, page browning or other serious problems. ******* Very Good (VG) Books that fall into the VG range will exhibit general but not heavy wear. Flaws common to this grade are minor cover creasing, light spine roll, minimal moisture stains, spine fading and peeling cover lamination. The majority of vintage paperbacks will be found in this condition. ******* Good (GD) Books in GD condition show heavy signs of use but are still complete and intact including both covers, spine and pages. Also, any book that would normally fall into a higher grade but has some major flaw such as a clipped corner, or major cover crease should generally be downgraded to GD. ******* Good Minus (GD-) Any books that are in truly rough shape such as torn, taped, heavily warped, multiple major creases, receive this lowest grade. These may still be regarded as good reader copies.

How will I know if you have received my order or when it shipped?
We believe in treating our customers as we would like to be treated with each and every transaction. We provide point to point communication. We will email you when your order is received, we will let you know the exact shipping date and we will let you know when it is on it's way!

Will you discount your shipping if I order more than one book from you?
Yes. We discount to the US on the following scale: ******* (1) Book: $4.25 ******* (2 ) Books: $4.40 ******* (3 to 6) Books: $4.65 ******* (7 to 8) Books: $5.25 ******* (9 to 10) Books: $5.25 ******* (11 to 12) Books: $5.50 ******* (13 to 14) Books: $5.90 ******* (15) Books: $6.35 ******* (16+) Books: $1.05 per additional book ******* These amounts will be entered automatically when you check out based on the item quantity of your order.

I know you sell paperbacks, but do you ever sell hardcovers?
We do occasionally offer hardcover books for sale, if we find they might hold an interest for our customers. If we have any listed, you will find them under the category: Hardcovers.

I want to pay by check or money order. Who do I send my payment to?
At the current time, we only except orders through PayPal. Thank you for your understanding.

How long will it take you to ship my book(s)?
We ship within 24-48 hours when you make your payment with PayPal., with the exception of federal holidays, or severe weather situations. Your order will ship the first business day following the federal holiday. Thank you for your understanding. The time it takes to actually receive your order will depend on the shipping carrier (USPS).

How can I tell if a book is still available to purchase?
If an item still shows in our store inventory, this indicates that the item is still available for sale. An exception to this is if the eCrater system did not automatically kick the item out of our inventory. This happens occasionally, but is rare. Our apologies if this does happen. It is out of our control. Your money will be promptly refunded in this case. If it says 'On Hold' it is no longer available for purchase.

Do you accept credit card payments?
Not directly. However, you may pay by credit card through PayPal.

Do you ship to other countries outside the United States?
Sorry, we are unable to ship outside the U.S. at this time. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Can I pick up my order in person from you?
Due to safety concerns, I'm afraid the answer is 'NO'. Thank you for your understanding.

Do You Offer Refunds?
Yes. We do hope you are happy with your purchase but we realize things do happen. You have 30 days to request a refund. Please contact us for a refund authorization number. We will refund the cost of your item(s) minus postage. See the below FAQ for other conditions regarding issuing refunds.

Will You Issue a Refund if the Book I Ordered is Returned To Sender?
We will issue a refund on the cost of your book(s), but unfortunately, we cannot refund your postage in this instance. If a book is returned to us due to the post office receiving an insufficient address from you, we cannot issue a refund on the cost of the book only, until we have the book in our hands. Under no circumstances will we return postage costs to you when we have to pay the cost of postage ourselves. Postage will be deducted from the cost of the book when there is a 'return to sender' under an insufficient address provided by you, the purchaser. Under any and all circumstances, we must have the original book in our possession before a refund will be issued to you.
